Project Overview

Motion365 Ads is a dynamic advertising platform designed to connect businesses with drivers for mobile billboard advertising. The system includes several applications and interfaces: a Driver App for managing ad campaigns on the road, an Advertiser App for booking and managing ads, a Website to facilitate user interaction, an Advertiser App Web Dashboard for campaign tracking, and a comprehensive Admin and Super Admin Dashboard for platform management. The project’s goal was to create an intuitive, scalable solution that simplifies campaign management while providing real-time tracking for advertisers. Each component of the platform was carefully designed to meet the needs of its target users—drivers, advertisers, and administrators.

Research and Discovery

The development of the platform was informed by extensive market research and competitor analysis, focusing on key pain points in the outdoor advertising industry. Interviews with both drivers and advertisers highlighted the need for a seamless experience when booking, managing, and tracking ad campaigns. For instance, 85% of advertisers expressed frustration with the lack of transparency in traditional billboard advertising. A review of existing mobile ad platforms showed that most lacked the functionality to monitor campaigns in real-time. This discovery became a driving factor in building a feature-rich dashboard that would give advertisers the transparency and control they desired​.

Design Process

A user-centric design approach was applied to each component of the platform, ensuring ease of use and functionality. The project followed an iterative design cycle using agile methodologies to accommodate feedback from stakeholders at every stage of development.

User testing played a crucial role in refining the functionality and usability of the platform. Advertisers, drivers, and admin users were invited to participate in a beta testing phase, where they provided feedback on navigation, ease of use, and key features like ad scheduling and performance tracking. The testing phase revealed that drivers appreciated the simplicity of the Driver App for managing their routes and ad displays. Advertisers found the Web Dashboard particularly useful for tracking campaign performance in real time, which allowed for quick adjustments when needed​.

Outcome and Results

The Motion365 Ads platform achieved its objectives of providing a streamlined, easy-to-use advertising solution. Advertisers reported greater satisfaction with their ability to monitor campaigns in real-time, while drivers found the Driver App intuitive and helpful for managing their tasks on the go. Reflection
